We believe there are people who applied for the Basic Star exemption years ago and have since turned 65. They may be entitled to the larger Enhanced Star exemption. If the homeowner becomes 65 by December 31, 2011, they should file an application, including a birth certificate and 2009 income tax return, in this office by

March 1, 2011.
